Great show Buddy, you've got so many requests from show to show. It really says something about the audience you're getting. You should set up a guestbook for people to leave requests or just say hello. Great work, you're doing an excellent job carrying on a rich tradition.

Peace out, Buddy.

I'm just doing the best I possibly can to play what people want to hear. The older stuff is more difficult to obtain. I'm so grateful that Schocke gave me all those records. I need to ask Leena if she'd be willing to sell her turntables to me so that I can listen to them at home.
Setting up a guestbook doesn't seem like it would be too strenuous of a task; I just don't know where to start.
I'm ecstatic that I'm hearing from new electronicaholics. There are some old skoolers tunin' in with really good requests & nice compliments. As always, I appreciate your compliments & suggestions, too.

Well, Leena probably won't want to part with hers. But it shouldn't be too hard to find some quality used decks on EBay, or some other place on the internet. You don't really need mega-expensive decks if all you want to do is listen to records and practice some beat-matching.

Also, I was thinking... it seems like most of the "new" stuff you play is from the tech house/minimal realm. That's my fault probably. But... there's a lot more going on in the house, prog. house, and other genres that I'm sure your listeners would enjoy. It seems like most of the time when you get into those genres, it's more of a retrospective.

So, check out the charts around the web, like the one on Beatport. They have top ten lists for every imaginable genre of music as well as charts from DJ's. Resident Advisor also has charts from different DJ's around the globe. Find the music you like, write it down, and I'll help you track them down.

Peace,

J
