I began this evening with a set by Memphis DJ, Mary Jane called Robot Rok. It's a tight set of different subgenres of house. Here's the track list:
01 Booka Shade - Trespass [Night Falls Vinyl]
02 DJ T - Ambush [Get Physical Music]
03 Craig Peters - The Fumble [More]
04 Sawtooth Sucka - This is Hot [Wearhouse Music]
05 Subterfuge & Tony Thomas - Getting Serious (Tommy Largo Remix) [Lost My Dog]
06 Johnny Fiasco - Jack the Bass [Nine Records]
07 Hardfloor - Soulful Spirit [Kill Brique]
08 Pig & Dan - Deliverance [Cocoon]
09 Maskio & Alex Dolby - Tokyo Zoo
10 Pille & Lushi - Come [Eat More Beef]
11 Ernst Schoemaker & Dean Fuel - Quantum Moment [Down South]
12 Henrik Schwarz, Ame & Dixon - Where U At
The progressive journey becomes very driving towards the end of the set. The mixing also demonstrates how skilled she is. You can tell she's been DJing for over a decade.
After Mary Jane's set...
...Drum & Bass Memphis DJs Stilletto & Suicide King visited WEVL's studio for an interview. They also brought their recorded live set from The Full Moon Club on May 24, 2008, called Redefine. What a set it was, too, because the intensity of the music gradually rose to a mind blowing level! Even though Anna (Stilletto) & Tony (Suicide King) have been DJing for a shorter amount of time, they obviously delivered the goods on May 24! Keep in mind that this was the first time in the history of the HHDG that 2 DJs represented this genre of music, too.
I ended the evening with a request for Big Worm:
Matt Darey F/Tiff Lacey - Sum Of All Fears

Sounds awesome! I'm going to make an effort to tune in frequently from now on.
Yaye! I have some new music to play. A couple trax off the comps you gave me need some air time. I have others to share as well.
