I began this edition of the HHDG with a live set by Moonbootica at Resident Sputnik on February 7, 2009. This set starts out very soulful with disco cuts and ends with such intensity that it left me wondering, "How the heck did it get here? (but I love this!)" That is part of what makes DJing so magical sometimes. It's all about the journey. Moonbootica has heavy influences from disco and house, but has an acute awareness of what is also edgy, catchy music - ending the set with the Thin White Duke Club Mix of Human by The Killers.
