Porter: June 2009 Progressive Mix
Porter is one of the finest skilled DJs of Memphis. This month he created a very patient progressive set that enters many realms of dance music: progressive house, minimal, tech-house, progressive trance & a dash of tribal. Porter shows his talent in this mix by demonstrating that it is all about the journey. The style of music is more of an afterthought. He is more concerned about the timing and keying of the tracks while mixing. This is just a sampler - an appetizer, if you will- the main course will be delivered on the table during next week's show. Porter will be mixing live on the HHDG and talking a little bit about himself. I cannot wait. It is going to be quite a show!
