VOTE for the BEST Singularity 2008 DJ Set

In the past couple of years that I have hosted the HHDG, January is the month that I focus on what the highlights of dance music were. It is probably my favorite part of the new year of electronica because of this tradition. If you have been listening to the show for the past couple of weeks, you have noticed that I added a new idea to the January Best of 2008 program.

It hit me on December 31st at a party in Memphis at Nocturnal, that there is a way to expand on the notion of the best dance music in 2008. I was dancing to Slant-E's set, & the idea popped in my head after dancing hard to progressive: why not have a REwind Best DJ Sets of 2008 in conjunction with what I feel are the best dance cuts of 2008! It will give people an opportunity to hear what they missed last year, or for some, a sense of nostalgia. Whatever the case may be for you, I want the Memphis DJ talent to be recognized by everyone around the world because the pool is very deep & wide here in the city of Graceland. For the size of Memphis, TN, the competition is to be reckoned with, as Singularity explained. He further explained that cities around the same size as Memphis - or sometimes even bigger than - have less than half the DJ pool. I played a couple of sets by Singularity last year: Shadow Play & Nocturnal Sample.

Alas, I cannot decide between the two Singularity sets for the one to be played as the best of 2008. I have listened to both of them a lot, and they are both perfect mixes, in my humble opinion. Here is my solution. With the help of Singularity, you can click these links to listen.
