I aired an incredible live house set by Memphis DJ Funke at the beginning of the HHDG. The set was recorded at The Full Moon Club on February 28, 2009 in Midtown Memphis at a party called "Fuck The Recession." This was the same night that it snowed and everyone who showed up got a house treatment like none other - from Funke. Her DJ skills are mind-blowing at times because of her adept ability to remix a track while it is playing with her assortment of DJ tricks! This set truly brings me back to a month ago when I could not control my body because of the music provided by Funke. Thank you for the nostalgia, Mz Means!

The HHDG was the longest running electronic dance music radio program in the USA: 21 and a half years! The HHDG aired the final program on New Year's Eve 2011.

I didn't notice it on your track listing, but that Ellen Allien & Apparat track called "Sleepless" is utterly irresistible to me (played around 10:45PM). I had to go listen to some Bpitch Control tracks on Beatport to find it. As it turns out, the track was released in 2006. I can't believe I've never heard it before now.
Well, Chris, I must admit that you have a thirst for emotional music & an ear for accuracy that only a remarkable DJ can possess. You actually caught me at a moment of misinforming the audience. "Way Out" is not the track I played. Instead, I played the XTC mix of "Sleepless." I will correct this error now...
